Halara is an online activewear brand that became viral on social media.
Joyce Zhang, an entrepreneur based in Hong Kong, founded Halara in 2020. Zhang noticed a demand for clothing that could be worn for both leisure and athletic activities during the pandemic. They well women’s apparel ranging from activewear, loungewear, and workwear.
The brand is often compared to lululemon, CRZ Yoga, OGL, and Nike.
Below we’ll share our Halara review and whether you should invest in this apparel brand.
Halara Review
I received the following Halara products to review:
- Flex High Waisted Side Pocket Wide Leg Waffle Work Pants ($39.95) – I LOVE these pants! The material is super lightweight and breathable. I am getting them in more colors. Definitely go with your true size.
- SoCinched High Waisted Tummy Control Side Pocket Ultrasculpt Leggings – These leggings will accentuate your booty! They’re very soft and pill-resistant. I LOVE the waistband because it sucks everything all in and makes you look super snatched.
- High Waisted Back Zipper Split Hem 2-in-1 Corduroy Casual Skirt ($39.95) – This skirt is super cute! I made the mistake of getting a large so it looks a bit baggy. Definitely go with your true size in this style.
- Adjustable Strap Button Multiple Pockets Waffle Casual Overalls ($44.95) – I LOVE these overalls. I’ve been looking for lightweight overalls and these are exactly that. They’re made from the Halara Flex waffle material, which I can’t get enough of!

Halara Pros
- Runs True to Size (TTS) – I recommend going with your true size in Halara products. I can fit a size large but it’s rather loose. For reference, I am 5’5″, 165 lbs, and wear a size medium in Halara and still have plenty of room.
- Styles come in various colors to choose from! I LOVE that their styles come in various colors.
- Very Affordable – Many of their styles will range from $19-$60 USD. Halara often has sales where you can get bulk discounts (ie. buy 2 get 1 free). You can also use code ALEXTR1 to save 15% off your orders (full-priced items only).
- High-quality materials – The materials are surprisingly very high quality! I read that people were dissatisfie with the quality, but I found that they performed beyond my expectations. They do not snag easily or pill. I love their Halara Flex material because it’s super lightweight and perfect for travel.
- Proprietary fabrics with functional and performance features.
- HUGE Variety of Products – You could spend HOURS on their site looking for the perfect style. It can be overwhelming. I like to shop their best sellers and sort products by top-rated to find the most popular styles. I also read reviews to see how a product performs and fits.
Halara Cons
- Fast Fashion Brand – Their pieces while made to last, unfortunately, contribute to the cycle of fast fashion.
