- Runs true to size. I wear a street size 7 US and ordered a size 38 in Viscata footwear and they fit perfectly! The ankle straps also help to keep the shoes on while walking.
- Sustainably Made – Viscata partners with Project DNA to fully trace their entire manufacturing process from start to end. They also use 100% recycled packaging that is locally made. All their sandals are handmade using traditional techniques by artisans who have been in the business for decades.
- Comes in many colors and styles.
- Easy to clean! I was able to clean my canvas sandals with a wet cloth and dabbing the surface dry and then air dry. The shoes dry within hours.
- Take Back Program – They offer a program where you can ship back your used Viscata footwear and get a coupon to buy something new. Their closed loop system prevents their shoes and accessories from ever making it into landfills.
- Second Chances Shop – Viscata offers a second-hand shoes store where you can get shoes for a fraction of the cost! Many of the shoes are practically new and you’ll also find many discontinued styles. It’s worth taking a look if you’re looking for unique and affordable footwear.
- Long Return Window – They offer a 120-day return window to ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase.
Viscata Cons
- Expensive – A shoe will run you around $100-$150, but they are high quality and will last you for years to come!
