What is a Trench Coat?
A trench coat is a long, weather-resistant coat with a classic, versatile design that’s suitable for both formal and casual occasions.
Trench coats were originally designed for British Army officers in the early 20th century and became popular during World War I. The name comes from the trenches, where soldiers wore the coats to camouflage themselves and protect themselves from the rain and mud.
Today, trench coats aren’t just for the boys. Men and women wear it for both fashion and function.

I recently thrifted a men’s Jos. A Bank trench coat at my local Goodwill in Colorado and was super excited to style it! It’s lined yet spacious. And the trench coat elevates all my outfits, including activewear.
