Conair DigitAIRE Hair Dryer Model 999N Black

Disclaimer: I received products from Conair to conduct this review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are mine and 100% honest.

About Conair

Conair is a household appliances brand known for their hair, skincare, and home tools.

In 1959, Leandro Rizzuto and his parents started Conair by selling hair rollers and dryers. To fund the new company, Lee sold his Cadillac, paid off his debt, and jumpstarted the business with the hundred dollars he had left in his pocket.

Fast forward decades later, Conair still sells high-quality hair products to help women take care of their own do’s at home.

Conair Hair Tools Review

I received products from Conair to conduct this review.

Hair tools and products I received from Conair:

  • DigitalAIRE Dryer ($129.99) – Model 999N – I LOVE this hair dryer. It’s lightweight, compact, has multiple heat and speed settings, and adapters, and is super strong! My hair dries within minutes. It may be too loud to use on your pets.
  • Conair Curl Secret Automatic Curling Iron | 3/4-inch Barrel ($99) – I eventually ordered the 3/4 barrel and it works so much better than the 1/2-inch barrel, especially for my thick and voluminous hair! I also didn’t have to recharge it. It plugs directly into the wall and stays on until I’m done. It takes about 40 minutes to completely curl my hair. It’s so easy to use! It also works internationally! I’ll be taking it with me as I travel the world!
  • Conair Curl Secret Automatic Curling Iron | 1/2-inch Barrel ($89) –  I LOVE this portable AND rechargeable hair curler. It’s perfect for traveling. I use the lowest curl and heat setting to get the best look for my hair. The Curl Secret iron also comes in 3/4″ and 1 1/4″ barrels (but are not rechargeable). The only cons is I have a lot of hair and it takes TWO charges for me to completely curl all my hair. The second con is that the iron needs cannot be used while plugged in. If you have thick hair, I recommend going with a thicker-sized barrel for quicker styling. The wall cord is also helpful so that you can completely curl your hair without waiting for a recharge.
Curled hair with InfinitiPro Curl Secret 1/2 inch hair curler

Curled hair with InfinitiPro Curl Secret 1/2 inch hair curler at 360 Degrees and wavy setting. This is my hair 6 hours after curling.

Conair Pros

  • Affordable
  • Super Lightweight
  • Customizable heat and speed settings
  • Long extension cord
  • Eliminates Frizz using ion removal technology.
  • Safe for hair because it uses more ceramic parts than the typical hair dryer.
  • High Quality
  • Long Lasting
  • 4 to 5 Year Warranty depending on the product.

Conair Cons

  • Loud – Cannot be used on pets, unless your pet doesn’t mind. My chihuahua would have hated it. If it is to loud for you, I recommend using Loop earplugs to protect your ears.

Should I for Shop Hair Tools from Conair?

YES! You totally should! Conair products are reliable and I’ve had my Conair hair dryer for over 10+ years until I replaced it with the newest DigitalAIRE Dryer

I also love their Curl Secret curling wand. It makes it SO EASY to style my hair! I definitely need the 1 1/4″ barrel for all of my hair.

I love how easy and quick Conair makes taking care of my gray hair and can’t recommend them enough!
