Toad and Co. Overalls
Nowadays, while shopping, we can’t help but feel that everything feels like fast fashion. And that can be overwhelming for people who want great products without sifting through all the junk out there.
My friend asked me to style her, and I was more than excited to do so! One of her requests was no fast fashion. She was willing to pay for pieces that would last her a lifetime.
The older I get, the more I value pieces that will last me a long time. While a higher price point typically means that a brand may be slow(er) fashion, that may not always be the case.
Luckily, many brands are affordable and accessible, and can be delivered to your doorstep within days. Thank you, modern-day supply chain! I was able to find so many pieces she liked.
There are also many high-end brands that are just too inaccessible to many. Sustainable fashion does not have to be out of reach!
Things that you mainly want to look for are the following credentials:
- Oeko-Tex certified
- B Corp Certified
- Fair Trade
I’ve been a longtime online shopper and have made an effort to avoid fast-fashion brands. Below, I’ll share sustainable fashion brands that I can confidently recommend that won’t drain your wallet yet deliver high-quality pieces.
